Paul's Comment: So, this controversy over the Nebulas and the final ballot. Where did it start, Paul? you ask all wide-eyed. Let me show you, young child thing. First, Richard Horton made a comment about the process and about Tor itself, which spurred Tor managing editor Patrick Nielson Hayden (aka, the PNH) to reply. Charles Coleman Finlay (aka, the CCF, suckas!) gave a lengthy review of his thoughts on the process. Then I drew this comic strip. Subsequently, I was contacted by an agent from Los Angelos who, after seeing what wit and charm Greenhorn is able to create, bought movie and television rights. Immediately after that I received an e-mail from Sir Ian McKellen requesting to play the role of Old One. Who am I to turn down a Maia?
Well, that's not exactly how things happened. Besides, I've turned down lots of Maia before? Tom Bombadil has nothing on me.
Damon's Comment: You notice how my comments are always on the bottom. That's some bullshit isn't it. Anyway, I don't give a banana carrying red monkey butt about awards unless I am getting one. That being said it like high school all over again where I should have been nominated most likely to succeed I mean shit, we have Greenhorn and FBS, if that's not succeeding I don't know what is.
